Tailored to children 30
months and older, but everyone over 18 months may participate. Children are very tactile. Most enjoy having their hands in “stuff”
– whether it’s sticky, sandy or soft. Arts & Crafts Classes at Little Sprouts aren’t
just occasions to get messy – they are enjoyable learning experiences as well. This 45-minute themed
class involves an interactive story, some music and a related project.
The heavy use of shapes, colors, numbers and letters lends support to the educational thrust of these classes.
Multiple intelligences work together to cut, draw, mold, paint and glue various projects in a setting that fosters
and advances collaboration and team-building skills.
