Little Sprouts got its start in Spring 2004 as the brainchild of a young couple committed to creating
a nurturing and fun environment in which parents and children could play, learn and grow together. What began as a play space
stacked with numerous age-appropriate toys, rides and gym equipment quickly evolved into a multi-faceted offering of open
play, limited drop-in child care, a range of class offerings and regular bookings for a variety of birthday and other parties.
New Priorities, New Owners
With shifting priorities borne
of new additions to their family and a commitment to pursue graduate study, the original owners recently passed
the torch to Wee Ones Wonderland, Inc., and its principals, Hilda and John Richards, who have been “minding the store”

Inspired by the need to locate quality care
for their own infant son, the Richards’ started Wee Ones Wonderland, a family child care business in 2006, leveraging
Hilda’s twenty-plus years of experience working with young children and mothers as a midwife, neo-natal intensive care
nurse and lactation consultant.
Wee Ones’ association with Little Sprouts quite naturally
builds upon its children’s education and care franchise, as well as Hilda’s talents and experience.

Wee Ones and the Richards remain committed to expanding and finessing the Little Sprouts franchise that began
nearly a half decade ago.
